Welcome to the home for Crittenden County’s 2026 primary election. On this page, you should find all the information or links to information you need to be an informed voter this spring.

We caution all prospective voters to be wary of any texts, emails, mail or other communications from sources other than an official government source. Of course, we welcome any questions from you by phone our office at 270-965-3403. You may also look for updates and information on social media at Facebook.com/CrittendenCountyKy.Clerk.

Voters should prepare for a heavy turnout. To expedite voting, have your Kentucky driver’s license or ID ready at the polling location and study your ballot beforehand. Statutes allow 4 up to minutes in the voting booth to mark ballots.

Excused in-person absentee May 6-13, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

  • Available in the County Office Complex
  • Voter must attest to being unable to vote in-person for Early Voting or Election Day

No-excuse Early Voting May 14-16, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

  • Anyone may vote at the County Office Complex

Election Day May 19, 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

ABOUT OUR OFFICE

The responsibilities of a Kentucky county clerk are numerous and varied, falling into the general categories of clerical duties of the fiscal court; issuing and registering, recording and keeping records of various legal instruments; voter registration and elections; tax duties; motor vehicle registrations, transfers and titling; and the issuance of marriage.
