Beginning Monday, delinquent 2020 Crittenden County property tax bills payable in the county clerk’s office will have a 20 percent county attorney commission, $1 postage fee and 2 percent interest added to the face value of the certificate of delinquency. An additional 1 percent interest is added beginning June 1.
Payment in the form of cash, credit or debit card, money order and cashier’s check are accepted. Personal and business checks are no longer an acceptable form of payment for delinquent tax bills.
The county’s tax sale is scheduled for Aug. 26, 2021.
